Women's Rights are Human Rights
What if we paid men and women equally? What if we paid people of color the same as their white peers? Gender and race based violence, sexual violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment in the workplace and in academic settings, and many injustices and discrimination forms have deep roots in the imbalance of power created and maintained by paying women and people of color less than their peers. Today, we have an opportunity, and indeed a duty and responsibility, to redress all forms of discrimination and violence committed against women.
Equity and Justice for All
My name is Theresa Giovanna. I am a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, marathon runner, dancer, lawyer, advocate, model, public speaker, Christian, and small business owner. I believe in civil rights, human rights, women's rights, education, equity, justice, and redress. I have spent all of my adult life fighting for justice, and I support the radical notion that representation, Black lives, and women's lives matter, too.
